How To Give

The options presently available are as follows:

  1. Electronic Transfer
This is now widely available through Internet Banking Systems and is the simplest method. Your payment should quote our bank details (given below) and should also include your name as the donor. You will also need to notify our Accounts Department by e-mail or post of your gift and send your instructions as to who the gift is for.
  2. Payment from a UK Bank Account
    Name: Echoes of Service
    Sort Code: 60-02-05
    Account Number: 00107980
  3. Payment from a non-UK Bank Account
Name: Echoes of Service IBAN: GB83NWBK60020500107980
    BIC: NWBKGB2L
Our e-mail for notification of your instructions is echoes@echoes.org.uk
  4. Cheques
We are still happy to receive cheques, which should be made payable to Echoes of Service and accompanied by a short note indicating the beneficiary and your distribution instructions.
  5. Standing Order
We are happy to receive regular gifts by standing order of either designated or unallocated gifts. Just contact the office and ask for a standing order mandate so this can be set up with your bank.
  6. Credit Card
We can receive gifts by credit card. Please contact the office who will let you have the relevant details.

Points to consider

  1. Gift Aid
If you are a personal donor who pays UK income tax, then please consider using Gift Aid. The refund of tax from the government adds 25% to the value of your gift. All that is required on your part is a simple declaration which can be obtained from the office, and then when a gift is sent your instructions on the application of the Gift Aid refund.
  2. Personal or church cheques
We strongly advise against sending sterling cheques to mission workers serving abroad. The conversion of these cheques in the local banking system often involves substantial charges, considerable delay before the monies are paid and the risk of cheques going missing in the postal system. Echoes is happy to undertake the transmission of any funds on your behalf.
