Prayer points

BRAZIL
Give thanks that Walter Alexander’s surgery went well and he was discharged two days later. Pray for him during the recuperation period, as he finds it hard to step back from the Lord’s work. 31/8

Walter and Elizabeth travelled to Rio last Friday to attend a conference. On Tuesday they will travel to Queimados, on the outskirts of the city, where Walter is booked to give ministry. He was unable to go last year due to cancelled flights, so felt he could not let them down again even though it is so soon after his operation. Pray that he will be given the needed strength. 6/9

COLOMBIA
Kathleen and Anita Keith-Gillon
would value prayer as they travel to a retreat this weekend. They will set off on Thursday and stay overnight in Ibague, before going on to Neiva and La Plata. The first part of the journey will be over a mountain road which was recently closed for three days due to an avalanche. 23/8

MEXICO
Eglon and Judith Harris
have requested prayer for their future engagements. On 28th August, Eglon will speak at a Bible School graduation ceremony in Puebla. On 4th and 11th September, they will have seminars for the Sunday school teachers. 23/8

PANAMA
Clive and Hazel Walker
are hoping to be able to start a new Bible study soon with a man and his wife. Pray that they will be open to this. The man had a stroke last year and is unable to work. 31/8

PERU
Give thanks that Steven Twinem is now recovering from his illness. It turned out that the doctors had made a mistake in his diagnosis and he had septicaemia, not typhoid as originally thought. 16/8
